This is a difficult album to explain, Each moment of the songs creation was deeply embedded in turbulent emotions relating to significant events. When I play it back I hear the rough edges and mistakes. Volumes that could be better adjusted and segments that could be reduced to produce a more commercial result, like all its predecessors. But when I listen to contemporary POP productions, I find them lacking musicality and warmth. It just sounds homogenised and subservient to commercial interests and values. Maybe my methods are so carefully accounting to personal preference that nobody else can ever dig it! That is when a man is truly talking to himself.

Ending formal lessons on violin, I began writing songs in 1992, graduating to a four-track cassette recorder shortly after, and the addictive journey of composing then recording was entrenched.
