Part time pop obscurity, with the purchase of a new effects unit and other borrowed equipment I was able to progress another step in developing my recording process. 1995 was also a year where my music listening broadened significantly. My appreciation and understanding of a more alternative aesthetic pulled me in different directions. Bands such as Joy Division; The Smiths; Yo Lo Tango; Stereo Lab and The Velvet Underground took their turn as key influences.
In some tracks I successfully realised a wall of dark psychedelic sound shimmering to reveal a deeper significance.

Ending formal lessons on violin, I began writing songs in 1992, graduating to a four-track cassette recorder shortly after, and the addictive journey of composing then recording was entrenched. I continue, assimilating influences and forging my own way. I shy away from performing, I write, record then move on.
