Space Junk 05:00
Hello my friends, I am like a man imprisoned in a space jam can If you look out your window, you might see me fleetingly With stars in my eyes – A space junk satellite A map of a million laughs – space junk cowboy Riding the range in the sky - space junk cowboy Riding on the range in the sky – he is so shy – up there in the sky Sometimes I come down to visit, put on a coat of etiquette exquisite Try to mingle with the crowd, but they don’t like my flavor So off I go again to record another favor (failure) Flying round like a space junk cowboy in my space junk tin can Maybe I will see the first nuclear strike from this great height What if there is a tear in my space suite? What if the chemicals are wrong? What if we can’t evolve beyond commerce? (repeat) I feel like I’m floating somewhere, I feel like I’m flying high (repeat)
2.
Space Waves 03:41
Waves, these space, waves are taking me higher than before Waves, these space, are making me stronger than before Higher than ever before, harder than ever before Dying with our heads in the sand Wads, these tight wads making it harder to enjoy the beech Your plastic money, won’t buy me, won’t fry me fish and chips No it won’t buy me - Fish and chips (repeat)
3.
The winds caress, the curtains are learning The ultimate test that’s for sure The strongest hold, elements are unforgiving Lately, I'm feeling, It's harder to live in the world Lately, I'm seeing, fragments of surprise Lately, I'm feeling, It's harder to live in the world Lately, I'm seeing, fragments of surprise Judgments made, are a pressure sore They make us feel, like we don't belong The approaching thunder, Is a warning sign Of the brewing storm, to engulf the world Lately, I'm feeling, It's harder to live in the world Lately, I'm seeing, fragments of surprise Lately, I'm seeing, It’s no use to romanticise Lately, I'm dreaming, about the worlds demise
4.
I’ve been thinking over the many things The bits and pieces rings and wings From the safety of my bed About all the things that have gone wrong inside my head I catastrophise, then monopolise the way things should be said People drift apart and end up right back at the start Not really knowing much of each other Is it a question of time? Are we afraid too much that is real? The hurts that clothe our bones are worn with a sorrowful heart And the capes come down from borrowed clowns and make me feel uneasy The kettle doesn’t whistle anymore The TV is a soporific affair The Church keeps on giving bread rolls to the poor With an ulterior motive that’s for sure The government enforces the law with an army of servants that’s for sure The military"s saber rattles, that’s for sure To wipe the plastic grins from there Netflix faces The arsenal is poised under callous fingers To reduce the world to rubble is quite a trouble To rebuild in this world, in this world
5.
I’ve been gazing at the stars it seems Feel a little envious at times But a don’t let it shape my mind Because the meanings just a point in time (repeat) The point of that is just a matter of fact, just a matter of fact I’ve been wasting my time it seems Placing favor in some unreal dreams Truth and beauty is a wistful nest
6.
The play phone fix is just a warning The play phone tricks are just a lie The coloured lights across my ceiling Remind me of the ways we walk A phone call mix, might stop me yawning A play phone fix you can’t deny The matrix grid is overloading Unlucky kids will often die The ringing list is ask no favours The swinging swish is the silver lie
7.
Space Dream 02:12
8.
We stand for trees We stand for earth We stand for green For what its worth We stand for time We stand for cars that do not pollute (that do not pollute - repeat) We stand for rights We stand against wrongs We need to fight We need to stay strong We stand against greed We stand against the thrown We stand for art We stand for equality
9.
Well the doomsday clock is one minute to midnight And the newsreaders hint that we’re in it for the long haul The 6 o’clock shadow shaves a scary place to be The more we build security it seems The more we build for war The more we ask for sanity, the more the people roar
10.
Brushstrokes 03:02
I can see reflected in my visor, the planet earth With its continents and oceans, problems and solutions One world, one crazy world There’s so many people, hugging to its texture like a plague Living in their world on their own, with a thrown room and a toilet A convalescent taste, bigotry and grace On one hand such a snail, on the other a blazing trail And the Queen is a mystery, and the King has a convoluted history And the pride are all bright eyed and carnivorous This perspective is a canvas, captured in its motion I’ve toiled so long, maybe the brushstrokes were wrong Because we are below the bar
11.
The coloured lights across my ceiling Tantalise me with a feeling In there regular way, they capture the shadows of the day They tantalise the fleeting burst They capture your eyes, who follow the leader Tangle with your thoughts They are left dangling in the air No need for despair Yet I need to learn how to stop The thought lines that remain in corporeal exile Give them birth to the populated places Life is but a dream in this nebula romance Make them feel like they belong, inside this mischief grinning soul Life is but a dream in this nebula romance Life seems slightly small in this nebula expanse
12.
What the world needs now is a social lobotomy A chance to start all over again, social lobotomy Don’t let our leaders hold you back, hold back progress With their Feudalism intentions and capitalist hearts Greed and power have divided the people, the people Greed and power have divided the people, the people Categorise them into haves and have not’s What justification is there in the world for the opulent elite? To preserve their privilege above all else While the planet dies before our eyes The economy serves the few And the rest are just enslaved trapped in your station No hope to be released While the landlords take our hard earned pay In the name of superiority, but all I see is a world of mediocrity Hypocrisy, misery Why should the arts hold such a lonely status When the corporate scum do nothing to enhance? We need a social lobotomy (repeat)
13.
14.
Just a Moon 03:20
In the crescent of the moon I can find a soft place fore my heart With celestial bodies floating by There’s nothing else in the sky tonight Just a moon We’re not just pieces of rubbish We’re not just pieces of hate We’re not just pieces of adage We’re not just pieces of faith We’re not just pieces of rubble We’re not just pieces of fight We’re not just pieces We’re not just pieces You’re not just a moon in the sky You’re also the stars and the planets and suns You’re not just a piece of rubbish left from before Once more into the breech we go I wouldn’t want to spoil the show
15.
Let’s work this out, it’s worth a shout Let’s work this out, let’s crawl about Let’s get dirty, let’s work this out Without a doubt let’s walk the talk, let’s get moving Let’s set things right, put them in the pantry A world at war is what might happen If we ignore the warning signs Let’s work this out Let’s sing and shout! Let’s clean up the act Throw away the shovels they can only make more troubles Let’s dig for earth, let’s dig for earth We can believe in love with high places We can be in love with slight traces You can choose to be a one, two or a three You can make believe that everything is going to be ok But as they say fortune favours the brave I could ask a question like: Do you believe in God? Do you believe in TV? Do you believe that what is said is done? Do you believe in the planet is going to die Or do you believe in drop dead Fred?
16.
Scam 03:40
The text message is a scam Gamblers are being scammed The Government is such a scam The super markets are scamming you The neighbourhood is a scam All of the banks are scamming you Your so called friends are a scam Health professionals are scamming you The Police are a scam The crack dealer is scamming you The billboards are a scam The billionaires are scamming you The banks are such a scam The newsreel is scamming you Big business is but a scam Social media is scamming you Facebook is a scam Politicians are scamming you The elephant in the room is trying hard to scam you The window dressers, religion is scamming you It’s like the whole town is built with scam
17.
Be Aware 05:42
Sit down with a girl with the brightest heart I know Is there anywhere to go, in the stratosphere tonight to match? Beware Beware of the things that float your way, be ware, take care Be free, be free to chose the looks you wear, be free Be clear Communicate with humility and truth be clear Be clear Communicate with humility and truth be clear Be kind Be kind to those who fall too slow, be king Be brave Glide across the sky like a bird of prey, be brave Be free Be Aware Take notice of the smallest things, be aware Take care That not everything is what it seems Be Aware Some art is like the magicians snare be aware Be aware
18.
There’s something in the rain that soothes my soul There’s something in the water that makes me old Something in the way he says, there is something that I’m doing wrong Oh so wrong It’s the nature of the pecking order What’s gone wrong with society? What’s gone wrong with the energy? What is wrong with humanity? What is wrong with philanthropy? What’s gone wrong with countryside? What is causing all the suicide? What’s gone wrong with making a living? What’s gone wrong with those making a killing?
19.
New Low 04:52
I’ve hit a new low Maybe I was trying to see how far I could go The views not very pleasant around here It might in fact elicit a tear It’s a lonely place, there’s nobody here There’s nobody else here Not even to deliver a tear
20.
Violet CoCo 05:02
One summer way, I felt a little outrage One summer day, I felt a little anxious The cards are played, this can’t be true Someone is going to prison for representing me and you Someone is going to prison to represent me and you Some is going to prison We demand that you free Violet Coco today (repeat) She has the courage to protest for us About the ways the climate has changed We fought the war to fight off the Nazi’s But for sure they’ve comeback to roost again Let’s free Violet Coco today (repeat)
21.
The Process 03:56
22.
Measure Talk 03:47
I’m knocking at the doorways Looking over fences Bending around corners Searching through my mind I’m looking for the person I want to be (repeat) Changing ones scenery is a hope forlorn Picking up the stitches Picking up the tidbits Picking up the packaging that’s left around Watching other people, watching other people, watching over people At their fait accompli Looking for a remedy, looking to remember me Measuring ability, measuring insanity Measuring the games we play Measuring our hobby Measuring a hard-on Measuring a liquid Measure the ingredients Measure the way you walk and talk Measure the fantasy
23.
24.
Moonboots 07:13
25.
I’m looking at something about the past I’m catching a glimpse of what we could be I’m courting the ears of passionless youth I’m thwarting the need for validation I’m listening to the echoes around my mind Circling through the time To bring me some purpose to find Something to open your mind Not just a use by date And a substantial parking fine No reward for those who are late There maybe no more food on your plate Art, is a measure of how much we can achieve Art is a pleasure for all the things to believe We’re stuck in a measure of time I’m slowly going out of mind Catching glimpses of what may be Watching a colour TV Yearning for something trust So many pictures to see So many hopes in the dust Surrender to the void Place my art in the void
26.
I’m sitting on the edge of a computer desk I could fall off and land either way Off the ledge in my mind Off the phone call placed so unkind To contemplate maturity, I need to set the rules straight The rules of ones personal security To contemplate what is most useful of late Contemplate what has been done in all the dark alleyways The phone has no answer this evening Its call is a lonely hearts song If battery weren’t part of the equation, someone should be home A slight breeze, mystery air A dappled light glows through a yellow window This haunted place is it my hearts desire? A spider hangs from a wire There might be a hint of garlic in the air tonight And the moon glows soft a pallid Leaf mold be of no consequence The worms devour the corpse of something discarded Let the worms crawl through the eye sockets and teeth Buried with their meanness intact The black cat alleyway is where the cats will get pregnant tonight And the steeple falls like a coin into the slot What hollow wind could forgive my worries tonight? I’m coming home from a bombing raid tonight Watch the pretty fires as they bloom in the dark And the flack light and search beams have already been given their graves And the poet’s pen is working hard Capturing all the nuance and gravity And the dappled yellow light is a beacon of sorts A beacon to weaken the evil hearts of men And their churlish Woolley friends And the steeple falls like a coin into the slot What hollow wind could forgive my worries tonight?

about

Hello
If you are reading this you are probably interested in the music, the sound has caught your ear as they say. That is a good place to begin. My music spans three decades now a time in which I have largely turned away from commercial trends and instead have ventured toward more subtle and obscure petals below the canopy. My music is informed by many interesting cultural quirks. So I have tried to make a list of things that have had influence over the decades. I hope to bring back into vogue some of the spirit that I feel may be lost.

My influences

The Beatles (and solo work); Albert Camus; Joy Division; John Steinbeck; Patrick White; David Malouf; Dostoevsky; Franz Kafka; Franz Marc: Paul Klee; Kandinsky; Post Punk including: (Suicide (Alan Vega); Caberet Voltaire, Duruttit Column, Public Image, The clash); The Velvet Underground (Lou Reed); New Wave and variants – Dark/Minimal ( Including: Neon, Gary Numan, Shoc Corridor; Minny Pops, The Passage; Dark Day; Tuxedomoon; Martin Dupont; The Cure, The Royal Family and The Poor; A Certain Ratio, The Sound, Tangled Shoelaces, Lives of Angels,); Pink Floyd (60’s psychedelic pop, Syd Barrett); The Doors ; Brian Wilson (Beach Boys); The Kinks; Jimi Hendricks; Tom Waits; David Bowie; Iggy Pop; Jean-Michelle Jarre; Rick Wakeman (and some prog rock); The Smiths; Bach; Beethoven; Robert Rich; Steve Reich; Stockhausen; The Birthday Party (Nick Cave); Cocteau Twins; Curtis Mayfield (superfly); David Chesworth; The Go-Betweens; Jethro Tull; Nico; Nick Drake; Tim Buckley; Palestrina; Prokofieff (Peter and the Wolf), Stereolab; Pixies; Santio Santillan (flutes of the andes); Tschaikowsky (Pathetique); The Modern Jazz Quartet; Hildegard; Bob Marley; Jackson Pollock; Ravi Shankar; Space Disco; Shoegaze; Tricky; Krautrock (neu,, Kraftwerk)

It is very difficult to place this list in an exact order of importance because they each play a unique role. I am also finding it quite a challenge to compile the list so it may not be complete, changes may occur, maybe new things to discover.

This is the 10th album I have produced in two years, I feel like the music is evolving in this time though it is is often hard to calculate the merit when you are in the thick of it. Creativity is like a force within us that compels us to self improve, sharpen skills, think laterally, and embrace new experience and knowledge.

I have coined the term Space Wave to image a music that is vested with heritage and nuance and drives away at those gnarly old themes of social justice and authenticity.

about

Euie b Graham Canberra, Australia

Ending formal lessons on violin, I began writing songs in 1992, graduating to a four-track cassette recorder shortly after, and the addictive journey of composing then recording was entrenched. I continue, assimilating influences and forging my own way. I shy away from performing, I write, record then move on. I would love others to listen and enjoy, and hold out hope that I May find an audience. ... more
