Rubish Bin Day

from Dystopian DIscoteque by Euie b Graham

/

lyrics

It’s been one of those days, a real rubbish bin day
And the bins weren’t even emptied
Now they over flow
And the neighbor drags his lawn mower across his bullet head field
And Mr High VIZ has a smart Alec comment to add
The retirement home has a perfectly cut lawn
And lots and lots of windows to adorn
The landscape man blows leaves from A to B and back again
A dog barks until its throat is raw
The children come back home from school
With a limp and a claw
We have no money we have no time
And the cost of living rises
Get that shopping trolley get first in line
But the situation changes
You can no longer do the task at hand (repeat)

I would love others to listen and enjoy, and hold out hope that I May find an audience. ... more
